Making lures is extremely gratifying. It’s a slow process, not to be rushed — more like creating art. And as more buyers look for bespoke, hand-crafted tackle instead of mass imports, there is a real market for baitswimmers of this quality.
What’s in the partnership
- Permission to make and sell MYDOs online, to anglers, or to tackle stores — restricted to an agreed zone/area
- A pre-priced catalogue website and dashboard for orders and admin
- A set of 6 starter moulds plus instructions
- Ongoing support, instructional detail, and access to the MYDO Distribution Partner Forum
- New designs made available to partners as they land
Commercial terms (summary)
- Partnership investment: USD 5,000 (confirm with Sean — exchange and inclusions can vary)
- 10% of sales paid over quarterly
- If nothing sells within 6 months, MYDO may refund half and cancel the agreement
- You may sell the agreement / website / moulds / zone as a going concern (10% admin fee)
- You may sell an agency underneath you; revenue share on that stream is split
- Replacement mould set: about USD 50 plus postage

Baitswimmers
- #1 — 1 oz — small baits like sardines
- #2 — 2 oz — shad / taylor / elf / bluefish, or deeper with a sardine
- #3 — 3 oz — baits up to ~1 kg+
- #4 — 4 oz — deeper work, baits up to 2–3 kg
Luck Shots (tiny baitswimmers)
- #1 — ¼ oz — freshwater / tiny strip baits
- #2 — ½ oz — a little further and deeper
